Business Systems Analyst

Deublin Company is looking for a Business Systems Analyst that will plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business systems and processes in support of core organizational functions. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, project management and implementation. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements and goals.
  • Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Collaborate in the project planning, design, development, and deployment of integrations, new applications, and enhancements.
  • Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to
  • support purchasing efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and
  • potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
  • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ or more years of IT experience in a similar area of expertise.
  • 2 or more years of experience with ERP specific role and experience Strong knowledge of ERP functionalities and capabilities.
  • Software Development Lifecycle experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Education:

  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science or computer engineering, and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
